This standard specifies limits and measuring methods of fuel consumption for motorcycles and mopeds. This standard is applicable to motorcycles and mopeds powered by ignition engines and positive tricycles powered by compression ignition engines. This standard does not apply to vehicles using only gaseous or alcoholic fuels.
