Agriculture and Livestock Service Exempt Resolution No. 692 of 2019 establishing health requirements for the entry into Chile of animals of the order Rodentia to be used in zoos, for commercial purposes or as pets and repealing Resolution No. 2.875 of 2019 has been amended as follows:

Point 3.3 of the Resuelvo section has been removed, and points 4.2 and 4.3 below have been added to point 4 on establishment of origin:

"4.2 The zoo or establishment of origin of the animals for commercial purposes maintains a special surveillance and control programme for rabies and has not presented any cases of this disease in the 12 months leading up to shipment.

4.3 Any pet rodents were kept at a known address, where no cases of rabies had been recorded for at least 12 months prior to shipment, during the six months leading up to their shipment and were separated from rabies-susceptible animals."
