The Technical Regulation applies to all seamless cylinders subjected to pressure that are made from articles of iron or steel (whether or not coated with glass fibre, aramid fibre or carbon fibre), whether produced domestically or imported. Cylinders or containers for compressed or liquefied gas made of aluminium, aluminium composite material or aluminium alloys are outside the scope of the Technical Regulation.
