Draft Decree of the Ministry of the Environment of the Slovak Republic laying down individual notification requirements for a specific field of authorised technical activities

The draft Decree laying down individual notification requirements for a specific field of authorised technical activities is implementing legislation for the new Air Protection Act. The Air Protection Act transposed, inter alia, selected provisions of Directive 2006/123/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on services in the internal market (in particular the obligation for Member States to ensure access to information on services and entities providing these services).

The draft Decree lays down specific requirements for the performance of authorised discontinuous measurements, calibrations, tests and conformity inspections (hereinafter 'authorised technical activities').
This Decree lays down
- in the first part, the notification requirements, i.e. the requirements for the organisation, management and quality system of an authorised technical activity, the requirements for its personnel and technical support, the requirements for the methodologies (documentation, validity, use) by which authorised technical activities may be carried out.
In addition, the Decree lays down the requirements for a report on the valid result of an authorised technical activity.
The second part sets out in more detail the contents of an application for a responsible person's certificate (the person physically carrying out the individual authorised technical activities, how to assess their fulfilment, what the certificate should contain).
The annexes to the Decree lay down, inter alia, further details of the report on the valid outcome of an authorised technical activity.
