The draft regulation applies to natural mineral water

Amendments to Cabinet Regulation No. 736 “Regulations Regarding Natural Mineral Water and Spring Water” of 15 December 2015

The draft Regulation establishes additional criteria for the use of “Suitable for infant nutrition” in labelling and advertising of natural mineral water produced in Latvia. The draft regulation has been drawn up to exercise the discretion of EU Member States under Article 9.3. of Directive 2009/54/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 June 2009 on the exploitation and marketing of natural mineral waters to adopt specific conditions for natural mineral waters.
