Operators in the manufacturing sector:

- cutting plants
- facilities for handling meat/fishery products and live bivalve molluscs
- facilities for processing meat/fishery products and live bivalve molluscs
- cooling and freezing facilities with and without repackaging of meat/fishery products
- facilities where frog legs/snails/reptile meat/insects/refined products are prepared or processed

The frequency and duration of inspections in the meat and fish processing sector shall be regulated by Royal Decree, laying down the frequencies of inspections requiring the presence of an agent of the Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain in meat and fish sector establishments under the Agency’s control programme.
