Draft Royal Decree on localisation requirements for the 5G networks

This draft is part of the implementation of the security measures necessary for the supply of mobile 5G services. It requires certain entities to ensure that the persons, equipment, software and data necessary for the real-time monitoring of their (elements of the core of the) 5G network and linked to the control of physical and logical access to their (elements of the core of the) 5G network are located in the territory of the European Union. Persons who do not supervise the network in real time, but who may be asked to carry out a specific act on the network, may be located outside the territory of the European Union, provided that their interventions are continuously monitored.
