Regulation (EU) 2016/631 defines requirements for generating systems, which were specified at national level via the VDE Application Rules (VDE-AR-N 4110, 4120 and 4130). These application rules refer to the FGW guidelines TR 3, TR 4 and TR 8 for the verification of grid connection conformity. The TR 4 to be notified here regulates the design of the simulation and model validation for generating units, plants, storage facilities and components to be connected to the network of the general supply at medium, high and high voltage.
