The purpose of this Technical Specification is to lay down the requirements for the complete demolition of structures with the falling weight method.
The decomposition of the structures components is achieved by the impact of a falling weight (usually a metal ball) due to the momentum gained during its suspension from the cantilever of a lattice crane. In some cases the active mass is left to fall freely, instead of suspend.
