The purpose of this Technical Specification is to lay down the requirements for visual devices warning of buried cables and pipes during the opening of pits and, in general, during excavations, in order to avoid causing damage to underground networks.
This Technical Specification applies to two types of visual warning devices, type 1 and type 2, and includes their mechanical and functional requirements.
