Granting derogations to establishments producing foodstuffs with traditional characteristics

Draft Order amending Order No 34/2008 of the Chairman of the National Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Authority approving the sanitary-veterinary and food safety rules on granting derogations to establishments producing foodstuffs with traditional characteristics of the requirements laid down in Regulation (EC) No 852/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the hygiene of foodstuffs and laying down the procedure for granting derogations and for the sanitary-veterinary and food safety registration of establishments where foodstuffs with traditional characteristics are produced

Foodstuffs with traditional characteristics certified by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, in accordance with the provisions of Order No 724/1082/360/2013 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MADR/MS/ANPC) on the attestation of traditional products, obtained in establishments with veterinary-sanitary and food safety registration having a certificate for the manufacture of foodstuffs with traditional characteristics and which have requested and obtained derogations from the requirements laid down in Regulation (EC) No 852/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council, as amended, shall be marketed only on the national market.

Foodstuffs with traditional characteristics certified by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, in accordance with the provisions of Order No 724/1082/360/2013 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MADR/MS/ANPC) on the attestation of traditional products obtained in establishments with sanitary-veterinary and food safety attestation for intra-Community trade, holding a certificate for the manufacture of foodstuffs having traditional characteristics and having requested and obtained derogations from the requirements laid down in Regulation (EC) No 852/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council, as amended, may be the subject of intra-Community trade and export to third countries.
The label of food products with traditional characteristics, obtained in establishments sanitary and veterinary and food safety authorisation / registration, according to the provisions of this sanitary-veterinary and food safety rules, shall contain in addition to the provisions of Article 11 of the MADR/MS/ANPC Order no.
724/1082/360/2013 on the attestation of traditional products, with subsequent amendments and completions, and the registration number of the unit in the special register, preceded by the letters "PT" which means "traditional product" and the county code.
