Order 2016-06-03 No 599 on the notification of electronic cigarettes and refill containers, etc.

On 11 November 2021, the Danish Parliament presented the legislative proposal amending the Danish Health Act, the Electronic cigarettes, etc. Act and the Tobacco Products Act, etc.

The legislative proposal amends the fee schedules for products covered by the Electronic cigarettes, etc. Act and the Tobacco Products Act, etc.
The legislative proposal contains a number of provisions enabling the Minister of Industry, Business and Financial Affairs to lay down detailed rules.
The amending Order contains rules on fees for notification and annual maintenance. The amending Order also removes the exemption for payment of fees due to the ‘point to’. In addition, the amending Order contains rules on the amount of the fees being set on the Danish Safety Technology Authority’s website as well as information on when and how fees are due.
