The draft decree regards the standardisation of fixed and temporary transmitting aerials.

Draft Decree of the Flemish Government amending various provisions of the Decree of the Flemish Government of 1 June 1995 laying down general and sectoral provisions on environmental hygiene as regards the standardisation of fixed and temporary transmitting aerials for electromagnetic waves between 100 kHz and 300 GHz

As an environmental quality standard, a cumulative standard of 20.6 V/m (at 900 MHz) is established, this standard is identical to the current standard dating from 2011. This standard applies to all fixed and temporary transmitting aerials. ŁThe standard depends on the frequency.

In addition, a standard per operator is proposed which applies only to places of residence (adaptation of the previous decision from 2011 where a standard per aerial was included). This standard per operator is an exposure standard to which all fixed transmitting aerials of one operator must meet per location, i.e. the composite fields of all aerials of one operator and not of each aerial separately. The standard per operator applies, among other things, to telecommunication aerials and is equal to 1/5th of the cumulative (in power).
Details of the adaptation can be found in the attached note.
