Draft Regulation 4AC/2021 M covers the frequencies used by all types of equipment falling under the scope of the Information Society Code (917/2014). These include, among others, aviation radio transmitters, mobile communication networks, remote control equipment, maritime radio transmitters, amateur radio equipment, radio links, satellite earth stations, closed network equipment (PMR equipment), radio and television transmitters and UWB equipment.

Draft Radio Spectrum Regulation 4AC/2021 M of the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency and associated radio spectrum use plan (spectrum allocation table) for frequency spacing 100 Hz to 400 GHz, also including the radio interface specifications.

Draft Radio Spectrum Regulation 4AC/2021 M and associated radio spectrum use plan mainly include specifications that relate to the planning and control of efficient use of radio spectrum and that have not been included in the previously notified type-examination requirements and that have been largely replaced by harmonised standards. It therefore also includes

radio interface specifications.

Regulation 4AC/2021 M and the radio spectrum use plan, which are pending approval, will be published on the website of the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency. The radio spectrum use plan is maintained in a database updated on average approximately once a year.

A list of items with changes to the last notified version is attached to the use plan. In addition to the spectrum allocation table itself, the notification document include annexes explaining the terms used in the table, UWB radio interfaces that are difficult to fit in the table structure, inductive devices and standard references (standard references are for information only).
