The draft Rules for using the radio frequency spectrum for electronic communication networks of satellite radio

services after issuance of authorisation has been developed in connection with the provisions of Art. 30, item 8
and Art. 66a, para. 3 of the Law on Electronic Communications (LEC) (amend. And supplemented State
Gazette issue 20 dated 9 March 2021). Pursuant to art. 66a, para. 1 of the LEC, the use of the radio frequency
spectrum – free, after registration or after issuance of authorisation shall be determined by rules. These rules
lay down the conditions for the use of radio frequency spectrum, including the technical parameters for
operation of electronic communication networks from satellite radio services after authorisation issuing.
The project covers the operating conditions of electronic communication networks of the following radio
services:

4. Earth-satellite exploration;
5. Space Exploration.

Rules on the use of radio frequency spectrum for electronic communication networks from satellite radio services after authorisation

The Draft Rules on the use of radio frequency spectrum for electronic communication networks from satellite radio services after authorisation issuing are laid down the conditions for the use of the radio frequency spectrum as well as the radio frequency bands and the technical parameters of the networks of fixed-satellite radio services; mobile-satellite; radio broadcasting – satellite; exploration of Earth-satellite and space operation authorised to operate after authorisation.
The document also includes information on the mode of use of the frequency resource (after issuing authorisation to use radio frequency spectrum) indicates the applicable technical standards, which ensure compliance of radio equipment with the essential requirements laid down in Directive 2014/53/EU.
