Amendment to the interface description and developers’ documentation in relation to the online invoice data reporting requirement as prescribed by Ministry for National Economy Decree No 23/2014 of 30 June 2014 on the tax authority's identification of invoices and receipts, as well as its inspection of electronic invoices (hereinafter: NGM Decree)

The subject of the notification, in relation to the online invoice data reporting requirement, is the interface description of the Invoice Data Reporting REST API and the amendment of the developers’ documentation containing interface version 3.0.

The needs for the amendment are multifaceted. On the one hand, it is necessary to ensure that from 1 January 2021 the system will be able to receive invoices issued to individuals as well as community and export invoices via computer interface. Taking into account sustainability and other important aspects for the long term, the interface and its specification description have also been amended in order to provide solutions for issues that have arisen thus far as business or technical problems, in a way that proves satisfactory to both the tax authority
and the taxpayers.
On the other hand, missing data that may allow the preparation of draft VAT returns in a more precise way in 2021 have been identified and implemented.
