Order amending the Order on the Building Decree 2012 regarding the designation of new versions of certain standards

The Building Decree 2012 [Bouwbesluit 2012] contains provisions for the renovation and demolition of structures, the condition and use of existing structures, open sites and grounds and safety during construction and demolition.
This amendment to the Order on the Building Decree 2012 designates new versions of certain standards included in the aforementioned Decree.
In addition, the requirement on self-closing doors in residential buildings is now deleted. This requirement is now included in Article 6.26 of the Building Decree 2012 (Bulletin of Acts and Decrees (Staatsblad) 2020, 189, notification number 2019/0645/NL).
Article 1.3 of the Building Decree 2012 contains an equivalence clause that also applies to this amendment. See also the explanatory notes by article regarding said clause.
Article 1.3 Equivalence clause, paragraphs 1 and 2.
1. It is not necessary to meet a provision given in Chapters 2 to 7 if the structure or its use offers at least the same level of safety, health protection, usability, energy-efficiency and environmental protection as that intended by the provisions of these chapters, without applying said provisions.
2. An equivalent solution as referred to in paragraph 1 shall be maintained during use of the structure.
