Order on safety requirements for toys.

The Order implements Directive 2009/48 on the safety of toys with the latest amendments in Directive 2019/1922/EU and Directive 2019/1929/EU on limit values for aluminium and formaldehyde respectively. The Order lays down requirements for economic operators putting a toy product into circulation or making it available on the market. In addition, safety requirements and chemical limit values that a toy product must observe are laid down. The Order also lays down language requirements in connection with communication with the control authority and lays down sanctions for breaches of the regulations.
