Government Decree amending Government Decree 343/2011 of 29 December 2011 implementing Act LXXXV of 2011 on environmental protection product charges and Government Decree 442/2012 of 29 December 2012 on packaging and waste management activities related to packaging waste

New definitions regarding plastic carrier bags will be laid down from 1 July 2021. The draft will bring the definition of plastic bags provided by the legislative provisions in force in line with the

definitions of plastic carrier bags set out in European Parliament and Council Directive 94/62/EC of 20 December 1994 on packaging and packaging waste, Directive (EU) 2015/720 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 April 2015 amending Directive 94/62/EC as regards reducing the consumption of lightweight plastic carrier bags (hereinafter: Directive (EU) 2015/720), as well as in Act LXXXV of 2011 on environmental protection product charges (hereinafter: Environmental Protection Product Charges Act).
