Medical devices and protective equipment

Order on special measures concerning the supply of medical devices and protective equipment for the management of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

Under § 2(2) of the draft Order, the Danish Medicines Agency may order Danish manufacturers, importers, and distributors of medical devices and protective equipment to build up stocks of certain types of medical devices and protective equipment for regions and municipalities. The Danish Medicines Agency can set out a detailed framework, including scope and deadlines for the building up of stocks.
