Order of the State Secretary for Economic Affairs and Climate adopting a technical protocol for the method of delivery of intercepted telecommunications (Order on the technical protocol for intercepting public telecommunications networks and services)

Article 1 of the draft Order states that in carrying out orders by virtue of the Code of Criminal Procedure [Wetboek van Strafvordering], public telecommunications network providers must meet the technical requirements set out in Annex A to the Order. These are based on ETSI TS 102 232-01 to ETSI TS 102 232-07. The technical requirements were developed by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI). This protocol contains rules on how to deliver intercepted information. Article 2 states that during the transitional period, it will also be permitted to meet the technical requirements given in Annex B to the Order. These are based on TIIT v 1.2.0, 2011-09.
