Entertainment machines pursuant to Article 110(6)(a) of Royal Decree No 773 of 18 June 1931, as amended (TULPS)

Draft technical regulations for manufacturing entertainment machines pursuant to Article 110(6)(a) of Royal Decree No 773 of 18 June 1931, as amended (TULPS, consolidated public safety law) enabling remote public gaming.

The draft decree, comprising 8 articles and 1 annex, sets out the technical characteristics for the manufacture or import and operating modes of the machines and devices provided for in Article 110(6)(a) of Royal Decree No 773 of 18 June 1931, as amended (TULPS).

Articles 1, 7 and 8 set out definitions, administrative standards and entry into force respectively.

Article 2 describes the purpose and objectives of the draft decree.

Heading 1, comprising 3 articles, sets out the technical regulations for manufacturing the machines, defining the general characteristics and requirements of the machines and of the related gaming boards.

Heading 2 sets out the technical verification procedures for the machines, referring the specifications for performance of the technical verification and certification of the board to subsequent provisions of the Italian customs and monopolies agency (ADM).
