Decree on the organisation, operation and powers of the National Gambling Authority [Autorité nationale des jeux – ANJ]

The draft Decree focuses on two rules that will have an effect on operators:

- Firstly, Article 47 grants the National Gambling Authority (ANJ) the authority to revoke the approval of an online operator automatically under the provisions of V of Article 21 of the Law of 12 May 2010;

- Secondly, Article 49 specifies the treatment of the sanction procedure by the sanctions commission of the ANJ and the National Sanctions Commission (Commission nationale des sanctions – CNS), if a breach of the obligations defined in Chapters I and II of Title VI of the French Monetary and Financial Code is established.
