Legislative Order approving the conditions for the use of Structural Eurocodes in building structure designs.

This Legislative Order allows the use, in building structure designs, of Portuguese Standards (NP EN) which transpose the Structural Eurocodes into the national legal order, published as European Standards (EN) and prepared within the scope of the activity of the CEN/TC 250 Technical Committee - Structural Eurocodes. The NP EN include the respective national annexes, whose existence is provided for in European normative documents.

The order also lays down a transitional period of three years during which building structure designs may still be prepared on the basis of national regulations.
