Railway vehicles

The Swedish Transport Agency’s regulations and general advice on railway vehicles (national rules)

The regulations contain national provisions that supplement the EU legislative framework and that ensure that vehicles which are compatible to travel on Swedish infrastructure to which the EU legislative framework applies can be approved. Moreover, the national regulations also supplement the technical scope of the EU legislative framework to cover vehicle types that are not regulated at EU level.
