Electronic cigarettes and refill containers

The Swedish Consumer Agency’s general advice for the marketing of electronic cigarettes and refill containers to consumers

The general advice provides guidance on how the marketing of electronic cigarettes and refill containers should be formulated within information society services (particularly websites that provide such products for sale), in radio broadcasts, television broadcasts, on-demand television and periodicals or other comparable publications to which the Freedom of the Press Act is applicable, as well as regarding sponsorship of events or activities to which the public has access or which can be assumed to have cross-border effects. The general advice is linked to the provisions in Chapter 4, §§ 3–4 and 8 of the Act on tobacco and similar products (2018:2088) and the Marketing Act (2008:486).
