Draft Act amending the Drug Prevention Act

The draft Act amending the Drug Addiction Prevention Act of 29 July 2005 (Journal of Laws [Dziennik Ustaw] 2018, items 1030, 1490 and 1669) assumes a relaxation of provisions regarding the cultivation of fibrous hemp.

The provision requiring notification is draft Article 46(2), which lays down the rules for cultivating fibrous hemp.

Article 46(2) stipulates that the cultivation of fibrous hemp may be performed on the basis of an application with the use of first or second-class seed material within the meaning set out in the seed legislation.
