This amendment of the Tobacco and smoking products decree regulating an exemption for points of sale from the ban on displaying tobacco and related products for sale, the ban on the sale of tobacco and related products without handover by a dispensing person, and facilities in designated smoking areas regulates the following:

- two exemptions from the ban on the display of tobacco and related products for sale (the display ban is included in the law) for specialist shops that meet certain criteria;

- a ban on the sale of tobacco or related products without salesperson assistance, such as from tobacco vending machines;

- rules on smoking areas, stipulating that smoking areas shall not be more attractive than non-smoking areas, such as by offering more facilities in smoking areas;

- a basis for further development of the method for drafting the display ban (as included in the law) and the method for specialist shops to register if they believe they fall under one of the display ban exemptions.
