Qualified trust services pursuant to the eIDAS Regulation (910/2014)

Guidelines containing Technical Rules and Recommendations regarding the generation of qualified electronic certificates, qualified electronic signatures and seals and qualified electronic time validations.

The Guidelines referred to in the notification contain certain provisions made mandatory by virtue or in implementation of the eIDAS Regulation and “recommendations” intended to better ensure the interoperability and use of online services. The latter are to be interpreted within the meaning of RFC 2119, in which their application is strongly advised, but not required. Finally, the Guidelines contain indications regarding the verification process which must adhere to the provisions of the eIDAS Regulation.
