These restrictions shall not apply to specimens of animal species used under the permit concerning a zoo referred to in the Animal Welfare Act (247/1996) and the activity referred to in the Act on the Protection of Animals Used for Scientific or Educational Purposes (497/2013). These restrictions shall not apply to the specimens of animal species used as fur bearing animals, including breeding animals.

In addition, the Decree shall lay down more detailed provisions on the traps and trapping methods for alien species of birds and mammals.
