Gaming Machines (sub-category B2)

The Gaming Machine (Miscellaneous Amendments and Revocation) Regulations 2018

These Regulations amend the Categories of Gaming Machine Regulations 2007 (S.I. 2007/2158) so as to reduce the maximum stake permitted in respect of sub-category B2 gaming machines (also known as fixed odds betting terminals) from £100 to £2.

These Regulations also make consequential changes to other secondary legislation, amending the Gaming Machine (Circumstances of Use) Regulations 2007 (S.I. 2007/2319) and revoking the Gaming Machine (Circumstances of Use) (Amendment) Regulations 2015 (S.I. 2015/121) so as to remove legislative provisions relating to sub-category B2 gaming machines which would no longer be relevant as a result of the intended stake reduction.
