Rules on the safety of lifts in use

The objective of these draft rules is to regulate area of safety of lifts in use that have been installed in and permanently serve buildings and constructions. The rules describe lift inspection and maintenance procedures and the authorisation criteria applicable to the bodies carrying out periodic checks of lifts and the organisations responsible for maintaining lifts and rescuing people therefrom.
