The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) extends the comment period for its 4 May 2022 advance notice of supplemental proposed rulemaking [notified in G/TBT/N/USA/1188/Add.3] concerning its intent to proceed with a speed limiter rulemaking. FMCSA received requests for an extension to the comment period from the American Trucking Associations (ATA) and the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association (OOIDA). Extension of the comment period will provide interested parties additional time to submit their responses. Therefore, the Agency extends the deadline for the submission of comments.
