The draft Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine "On Approval of the Technical Regulation on Ecodesign Requirements for Household Washing Machines and Household Washer-Dryers" is developed in order to ensure the implementation of ecodesign requirements in accordance with the updated EU legislation.

The Technical Regulation corresponds to Commission Regulation (EU) No 2019/2023 of 1 October 2019 laying down ecodesign requirements for household washing machines and household washer-dryers pursuant to Directive 2009/125/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council, amending Commission Regulation (EC) No 1275/2008 and repealing Commission Regulation (EU) No 1015/2010.

As of today, in Ukraine operates the Technical regulation on ecodesign requirements for household washing machines, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of August 14, 2019 No. 738 that was developed pursuant to Commission Regulation (EU) No 1015/2010. After this Resolution enters into force, the Technical regulation on ecodesign requirements for household washing machines, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of August 14, 2019 No. 738, will be canceled.
