The draft Order proposes to approve the list of substances, the presence of which in feed is limited or prohibited.
The draft Order also mandates recognizing the Order of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine No. 131 "On Approval of the List of Maximum Permissible Levels of Undesirable Substances in Fodder and Fodder Raw Materials for Animals" of 19 March 2012 as invalid. The draft Order is based on Directive 2002/32/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 May 2002 on undesirable substances in animal feed, as well as Commission Recommendation of 11 October 2004 on the monitoring of background levels of dioxins and dioxin-like PCBs in foodstuffs and Commission Recommendation of 17 August 2006 on the presence of deoxynivalenol, zearalenone, ochratoxin A, T-2 and HT-2 and fumonisins in products intended for animal feeding.
