The Draft Order establishes requirements on labelling of honey to ensure proper awareness of consumers (users) and aimed to prevent business practice, misleading consumers. The requirements apply for honey intended for human consumption. The Draft Order also provides a transitional period until 1 January 2023 for honey, which was placed or will be placed on the market by 1 January 2023. The placement of that honey on the market cannot be prohibited or limited due to the failure to comply with all or certain provisions of the requirements approved by this draft order before the expiration of products validity.
