With a view to avoiding mistakes of customs clearance practices, the Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection (BSMI) proposes to amend the twelve C.C.C. Codes currently announced to the reference C.C.C. Codes, and update the inspection standards to adopt the new version without any changes in the inspection scope. The proposed amendments is scheduled to be effective starting from the day of announcement. Whether domestically produced or imported from abroad, thermal papers must be in compliance with the inspection requirements before they are released from the production premises or the customs.
