The Requirements regulate the importation of the frozen/chilled uneviscerated fish products. The main points of the amendments include the following:

1.    The Requirements are amended to be consistent with the relevant standards of the OIE Aquatic Animal Health Code and Manual of Diagnostic Tests for Aquatic Animals;

2.    The original draft amendments to the Requirements were notified as G/SPS/N/TPKM/466 on 2 August 2018 which replaced five fish species (using common names) with fifty-five fish species (using scientific names) from the designated quarantine items in order to conform to the latest version of the OIE Aquatic Animal Health Code and the Manual of Diagnostic Tests for Aquatic Animals; 

3.    The revised draft amendments to the Requirements only amend the fish species of attached table from fifty-five species into sixteen species after considering the commentaries from the industry. Other contents are the same as the version notified on 2 August 2018.
