In response to the concerns raised by the public about the safety of table mounted chairs due to incidents in recent years that resulted in severe injuries to young children, the Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection intends to regulate the safety and quality of table mounted chairs. The conformity assessment procedure is either Type-Approved Batch Inspection or Registration of Product Certification (Module 2 + Module 3).
