The revised ministerial regulation mandates vehicles of category M1 with a maximum mass not exceeding 3,500 kilograms and N1, which are manufactured after the regulation has entered into force, to conform with the Thai Industrial Standard for Vehicles with regard to the Protection of the Occupants in the Event of a Frontal Collision (TIS 2400-256X(202X)). The proposed date of entry into force is changed to 2 years after its publication date in the Government Gazette.
