Thai Industrial Standard for Continuous Hot-dip 55% Aluminium/zinc-coated Cold-rolled Flat Steel (TIS 2228-2559 (2016))

The Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI) has proposed to enforce the Thai Industrial Standard for Continuous Hot-dip 55% Aluminium/zinc-coated Cold-rolled Flat Steel (TIS 2228-2559 (2016)) as a compulsory standard.

This standard covers flat carbon steel sheet 55% aluminium/zinc-coated by the continuous hot-dip process with 50 - 60% aluminium coating by mass, which is up to 4.0 mm in thickness and 1 500 mm in wideness.

The requirements (surface treatment; types and grades; dimensional tolerance; chemical composition; mechanical properties; marking and labelling; sampling and criteria; and test methods) shall be in accordance to TIS 2228-2558 (2015); except the scope and item 2.1 of definitions; it shall follow as stated in the Notification of Ministry of Industry No. 4973 (B.E. 2560) Issued under the Industrial Product Standards Act B.E. 2511(1968): Amending Thai Industrial Standard for Continuous Hot-dip 55% Aluminium/zinc-coated Cold-rolled Flat Carbon Steel of Commercial, Drawing and Structural Qualities (TIS 2228-2558 (2015)) (Amendment No. 1)
