1.1 This Draft Rwanda Standard specifies requirements, sampling and test methods for hand woven products including but not limited to baskets (Igiseke, Inkangara), platters, earrings, rings, pendants, boxes, necklaces, bracelets, shoes, tray, bowl baskets, chairs, vases, dust bins, lampshades, hand bags, shopping bags, table mat and woven coaster.

1.2 This standard is also applicable to hand woven products that have any part of leather or textile products, beads, paper, seeds, wood, metallic material or cow horn.
