This Standard was adopted by Pakistan Standard & Quality Control Authority after recommendations of the Technical Committee for "BUILDER'S HARDWARE AND SANITARY FITTINGS" (BDC-06) on 1999. The same had been approved and endorsed by the Civil Engineering National Standards Committee (CENSC) on 06-12-1999.

This Standard has been prepared after taking into consideration the views and suggestions of the manufacturers, technologists, suppliers and utilizing agencies.
