The notified Resolution establishes phytosanitary requirements for imports of fresh grapes originating in Germany.

1.    The shipment must be accompanied by an official phytosanitary certificate, indicating that the plant product has been inspected by the national plant protection organization (NPPO) of the country of origin and found free of: Drosophila melanogaster, Erysiphe necator, Elsinoë ampelina, Eupoecilia ambiguella, Phomopsis viticola, Drosophila suzukii, Argyrotaenia ljungiana, and Lobesia botrana;

2.    The shipment will be subject to phytosanitary inspection and sampling for phytosanitary diagnosis at the agricultural quarantine facility at the point of entry into the country, for the application of appropriate phytosanitary measures.

Shipments will be subject to phytosanitary checks by plant quarantine inspectors from the Institute for Agricultural and Livestock Protection and Health, who will verify compliance with the phytosanitary requirements and decide whether or not to authorize importation, on the basis of the accompanying documents.
