The notified draft Mexican Official Standard establishes the trade information requirements and regulatory elements to be complied with by timeshare service providers, with the aim of ensuring consumer satisfaction with the services contracted.

The notified text is of interest and generally applicable to all persons who are directly or indirectly engaged in the provision of timeshare services in Mexican territory and in the marketing in Mexico of timeshare services provided abroad.
