The notified draft conformity assessment procedure establishes the process and requirements for demonstrating compliance of products known as cheese and by other names for cheese to be followed by producers or those responsible for the product, in accordance with Mexican Official Standard NOM-223-SCFI/SAGARPA-2018, "Cheese - Name, specifications, commercial information and test methods", published on 31 January 2019 in the Official Journal. It applies to all cheese and varieties thereof marketed in Mexican territory.
