The notified draft Mexican Official Standard is applicable throughout the United Mexican States to natural and legal persons engaged in the manufacture, installation, operation and marketing of this type of sleepers. The specifications for prestressed concrete sleepers do not apply to post-tensioned concrete sleepers and vice versa.
