The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) of the Republic of Korea has amended the "Designated Scope of Quasi-Drugs" as stated below: - Maternity pads used to soak up postpartum bleeding and lochia (postpartum vaginal discharge) have been designated as quasi-drugs in Korea.
