Prohibition of the use of smoked food flavouring primary products for manufacturing (SF-001, SF-002, SF-003, SF-004, SF-005, SF-006, SF-008, SF-009), due to the presence of substances considered harmful to public health in accordance with European Union Regulation (EU) 2024/2067.

The measure includes:

-        Ban on importation and use of the listed substances in food production;

-        Cancellation of all previously issued import approvals for these substances;

-        A transitional period allowing existing food products containing these substances to remain in the market until 31 December 2026;

-        An extended transitional period until 31 December 2029 for cheese, meat products, fish products, fish roe, molluscs, and crustaceans containing these substances.
