A second amendment to the Mandatory Standard SI 1347 dealing with mechanical mixing tap with a single handle. This amendment changes the following:

·         Adds to the standard's scope a clarification that the standard does not apply to automatic or mechanical shut-off taps, which are governed by different standards;

·        Replaces a sentence in the Hebrew part of section 7.1 that starts with the words "all materials" and ends with "or taste" and requires that taps in contact with drinking water shall comply with the requirements specified in Israeli Standard SI 5452. Exempt from this requirement are specific taps as detailed in the amendment.
